Since we TV executives spend a lot more time on set than our own homes, we practically treat it as a home away from home. And therefore, why treat a TV show set any different than a home, right? A lot happens on set – we meet colleagues who turn into ever-lasting friends, pursue jobs that turn into passion, chores that turn into hobby, arguments that turn into creative outcomes and plain words penned on a piece of paper that turn into a lifeform. And it’s always easy to credit the writer, actor and director for the fate of a TV show. But nothing can ever prevail if the environment within which we function is not a conducive and positive one. And how do you ensure just that? By hiring the best vaastu expert in town. Neesha Thakkar is among those unseen, unsung stars who contribute towards making a good show a great one. I had the opportunity to work with her on shows like Ek Hazaron mein meri Behna hai and Dil, Dosti Dance wherein she ensured that the vaastu-compliant set decoration infused a new lease of life into the shows and made the working environment harmonious. Not only that, the TRPs too witnessed an upward swing. She has the ability of picking on the (good and bad) vibes on set and accordingly making it vaastu-compliant. As creative heads, we enjoy a lot of drama on our shows, but not on our show’s set. And Neesha simply knows how to turn a dramatic set into a peaceful one. Vaastu, in vaastav,
